SimpleRAW has been originally based on the raw mindset. What that means is a raw food diet which involves eating mainly unprocessed whole, plant-based, and often organic foods. Some say that when a person is following this diet, raw food needs to make up three-quarters of the diet, while others say that the diet should consists fully of only raw food.

At simpleRAW, they serve food that is without any kinds of additives, coloring, dairy, gluten and preservatives allowing for all customers to enjoy a tasty and completely healthy meal.

The food is created by vegan chefs who have a huge knowledge and enthusiasm when it comes to vegan gastronomy.

SimpleRAW opens doors at 9am and is therefore a popular place for breakfast and brunch.

In the morning, one can get the tasty “Morgentallerken” which is literally translated as Morning Plate, which consists of chia “pudding”, fruit, bread, avocado, rice paper with tofu, parsley spread and greens! A perfect way to start the day.

I personally love eating avocados in the morning, which is why their avocado sandwich is also perfect for the morning hours. The sandwich can also be made gluten-free and is made with an incredibly tasty basil pesto.

For the lunch hours, you can try simpleRAW’s burger which will fill you up and make you lick your fingers after tasting the paprika mayo!

For the dessert, you can choose between, warm rhubarb kompot – with crumble and vanilla ice-cream, berries with ice cream or a brownie with caramel sauce and cherries!

Why eat raw?

Eating raw food is low generally low in calories, high in fiber and eating this way could lead to weight loss, improved heart health and a lower risk of diabetes.

The concept of raw food-ism states that foods should be eaten completely raw or heated at temperatures below 104–118°F (40–48°C). Eating raw food is a good way to clean up your body from toxins as it is usually rich in fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, sprouted grains and legumes and most important of all, it tends to be very low in processed foods (or completely excludes them).

Maybe a raw diet is not something that one should do for too long as it may be nutritionally unbalanced for many, particularly because it is difficult to monitor what one’s body needs in this way and the best way to do it is to consult a nutritionist rather than do it on your own.
